Shelter Nova Scotia - Grant Recipient - 2023

National Grant

Our national grants are awarded to help certified music therapists make music therapy services more accessible in their community. In 2024, as part of our Music Therapy Moves Us campaign, we are prioritising projects that support older adults experiencing cognitive decline due to dementia, traumatic brain injury, or other conditions.

George Stroumboulopoulos Scholarship

With the generous support and partnership of George Stroumboulopoulos, we’re proud to offer this annual scholarship, which grants $4,000 to a Canadian music therapy student to help them complete their studies and internship hours.

Stuart McCormack & John Innala CAMT Internship Membership Bursary

The Stuart McCormack and John Innala CAMT Internship Membership Bursary is made possible through the generous support of the Kiwanis Music Festival of Greater Toronto. The bursary is in honour of Kiwanis Life Members and Past-Directors, John Innala and Stuart McCormack.
